DIGITECH® APPOINTS DOUG MARHOFFER
WESTERN REGIONAL SALES MANAGER

June 18th, 2003, Salt Lake City, Utah – Digitech, a Harman International Company (NYSE-HAR) is pleased to announce the expansion of its Domestic Sales team with the addition of Doug Marhoffer in the position of Western Regional Sales Manager for both Digitech® and DOD®.

In his new position, Marhoffer will manage all sales activities for Digitech and DOD in the Western United States. Doug brings an 18-year background of sales achievement in the MI channel. Marhoffer most recently served as Western Regional Sales Manager for Lexicon, where he was instrumental in the development and implementation of sales strategies for Lexicon Pro.

Commenting on his appointment, Vice President of Domestic Sales, Robert Benson stated, “I am looking forward to working with Doug. He brings a vast amount of knowledge and experience, which makes him the perfect addition to the team. He is well known among the dealers and universally respected. Additionally, Doug is an incredibly talented guitar player.”
